Apart from the basic functions of an ordinary solar charge controller (deep discharge and over load protection), this product range offers countless possibilities related to programmability, data processing, system configuration, unit-by-unit expansibility and performance. In addition to a lot of characteristics, a two lined LC-display, integrated data logger, PC connection, programmable operating points, exact state of charge (SOC) display, Ah counter and a lot more can be mentioned. 

All technical data and features as with the above mentioned Tarom product group, but for considerably higher capacities IP 65 protection (splash water protection) for the outdoor assembly. 

8. Series Phaesun

Phaesun Solar Charge Controllers with Graphical LCD - The most important difference to comparable products is a big graphical display. This shows all system information in a self explanatory manner with logical informative symbols. The integrated central processing unit called Atonic provides a charge controller with new functions. This type of controller is more than a protective device for a battery. It contains a self-learning algorithm, which gives detailed information on the battery’s state of charge ( SOC ). This optimized state of charge algorithm is more precise than ever and is displayed similar to a fuel gauge. It adjusts itself to the battery’s age and capacity. The SOC provides a basis for all control and regulatory functions. This new type of hybrid charge controller is much more efficient than conventional series and shunt controllers.
